Heck.

Ninety six thousand six hundred and sixty nine words and I wrote every one of them.

It's the longest thing I've ever written by about 25'000 words and. I think, it's also the best thing. Dense, idiosyncratic, possibly infuriating but also multi layered and full of memorable characters.

'Felt's Theorem' is now finished, version one anyway. It's quite an odd feeling. Today I begin edits, or time travelling as I like to think of it. Bobbing backwards and forwards in the novel's timeline to add in things that will just make the plot that bit smoother. Then I add in the apocrypha that runs alongside the plot and once that's all finished I will start hitting the agents.

Blimey. But surprised by the amount of work I've done. It's not something I'm known for.
